To remain competitive, companies should look across their value streams and value chains and identify where internal processes are being executed inefficiently – adding operating costs that the customer would be unwilling to pay for if they had a visual on the process.
To support Irish companies in maintaining and improving their competitive advantage, the Irish state, through the Department of Enterprise, provides invaluable support to assist companies in adopting innovative methodologies. These can include lean, digitalisation and sustainability to drive operational improvement in every department – whether in an office, manufacturing, construction or services setting.
The adoption of innovative techniques supports the growth objectives of Irish companies which deliver underlying growth in employment.
